Living History Day

The pupils of Year 5 finished their topic on the Anglo- Saxons with a living history morning. As you can see from the photographs, the children looked amazing and came dressed as a wide cross section of society from noblemen to clergy to farmers. They took part in a range of activities including archery (an important part of Anglo-Saxon life) to making jewellery (inspired by the finds of Sutton Hoo) to trying their hand at calligraphy (which was much harder than it looked!)
