Newsletter 38 - 15th July 2016

Hello Everyone One week to go and still plenty to do! It is always a bittersweet time as we head towards the end of the year and prepare to say our goodbyes to Year 6 and wish them well on their onward educational journey. It was absolutely wonderful last evening to see, through their wonderful and very polished performances in their production of the musical Dr Dolittle, how these children have grown, matured and developed. Starting in January 2010, this was my first Reception Class, so I have seen them pro-gress from busy little 4-year-olds ducklings into mature and majestic swans! These drama productions are so important in giving children the life skills and values of hard work, practice, perseverance, confidence, teamwork, compromise, resilience, responsibility and a ‘can do’ attitude. Well done, Year 6, you were all amazing! More photos next week, and on the website, as soon as we have five minutes!...more
