Our school thrives on being part of the local community.
The children benefit enormously from getting out and about but also from having members of the community coming into school and working with them. Parents, carers, grandparents and friends enrich children’s experiences by listening to them read, helping in class, coming on school trips, running extra-curricular clubs, leading workshops and assemblies, and generally supporting the school, especially in the areas of music, sport and art. Without these people, our school would not be the busy, vibrant place that it is!
If you have a spare hour or two and would enjoy getting involved in some way – perhaps you have a skill or expertise you could share, or simply want to be useful in some way! - you will be most welcome. Please contact the school office, or speak to one of the teachers.
